Curtis Charles // 

As Senior Vice President for Puma North America for the past 10 years, Curtis led the wholesale, business development strategy and product merchandising teams. In this role, Curtis was a central figure for the brand’s launch of the Fenty X Puma -- one of the most successful launches in apparel and footwear within the last century.

 

In addition to developing the Puma female strategy, Curtis played a pivotal role in the Puma X Foot Locker Lab concept, which led to Puma’s record sales within North America over the last six years.

 

Curtis has been instrumental in some of the biggest culture game changers within the apparel and footwear industry over the last two decades, and he has the track record to back it up. In addition to his work at Puma, Curtis has left his mark across the industry, including Saks Fifth Avenue, where he started as a buyer and quickly took his game to the wholesale side.

 

He then went on to work with DKNY and Donna Karan, where he integrated the footwear and accessories teams as merchandising manager and head of business development. Next was Cole Haan, where he helped launch the handbags and accessories division while working as the strategic head on the Cole Haan X Nike Air launch.

 

At Rockport, Curtis supervised record growth for the Reebok division before launching new youth culture divisions like I.travel, XCS outdoor brand, and their urban/streetwear division. And at Kemestric 8, Curtis served as president and CMO, where supervised the development of the luxury denim brand PRPS.
